Sanitation Worker
Location: Woodbridge area.
About the Role:
We are seeking Sanitation Technicians/ Worker to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting food safety programs. You will work cross-functionally with different departments to uphold sanitation standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
✔ Clean and sanitize production equipment, conveyor belts, oiler machines, and packaging equipment
✔ Perform deep cleaning of production equipment, floors, drains, HVAC systems, and hard-to-reach areas.
✔ Properly handle and store chemicals according to company policies and supplier specifications
✔ Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety guidelines
✔ Support changeovers and respond to sanitation-related emergencies
✔ Ensure compliance with Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures
✔ Collaborate with team members and maintain accurate sanitation records
Requirements:
✔ Minimum 6 months of experience in food manufacturing sanitation
✔ Ability to work independently and follow safety guidelines
✔ Scissor lift license preferred (training available if needed)
✔ Familiarity with BRC food safety standards, GMPs, and internal audits
✔ Ability to work weekends and 12-hour shifts as required
✔ Physically capable of handling sanitation tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long hours)
Shifts:
You will be working 3 days in weekdays, 8 hour shift and weekend 12 hours, (Both Saturday/ Sunday mandatory).
Weekdays. Mon to Friday
- Morning Shift- 6:00 am- 2:00 pm
- Afternoon Shift- 2pm to 10:30pm
- Night Shift- 10:30 pm- 6:30 am
Weekend Saturday Sunday
- Morning Shift- 6:00 am- 6:00 pm
- Afternoon shift- 8am to 8:30pm
- Night shift- 6:00 pm- 6:00 am
