Job Title: Payroll & Accounting Specialist
Reporting to the Payroll and Finance Manager, the Payroll & Accounting Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day payroll & accounting activities and provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture aligned with core Witron values.
Qualifications:
· Relevant post-secondary education in accounting or payroll
· A minimum of three to five years’ progressive accounting experience including payroll and benefits
Knowledge/Experience Required:
· General knowledge of payroll and group benefits a must
· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
· Attention to details and accuracy a must
· Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
· Fluency in French and English a must
· Computer knowledge and advanced proficiency within the Microsoft Office platforms (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required
· SAP experience an asset
· Dayforce experience an asset
Primary Job Functions:
· Assist with processing weekly and biweekly payroll, updating payroll records
· Create and maintain employee profiles in the Dayforce
· Data entry for Accounts payable and receivables
· Generate weekly and monthly reports (payroll, accounting and gov’t remittances etc)
· Assist Payroll and Finance Manager as needed on a day to day administrative duties
· May be required to work and travel outside of the normal business hours
· Other duties may be assigned as needed
Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
