Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Roofer Helper to assist with residential and commercial roofing projects. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and roofing, working alongside skilled professionals. Duties
- Assist roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems
- Handle and organize hand tools such as hammers, trowels, and caulking guns
- Support in loading and unloading materials and equipment on job sites
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans under supervision
- Apply caulking and sealants as needed to ensure waterproofing integrity
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural support
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
- Support handyman tasks as required for project completion
Experience
- Previous experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with blueprint reading or handyman work is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights is essential
- Prior experience working on roofing or related construction projects is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in the roofing industry
Pay: $20.89-$42.28 per hour
