Overview
Lexan Cabling Solutions Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Wire Harness Assembly Technician (Part-Time) to join our manufacturing team in Burnaby, BC. This role involves assembling custom cable and wire harness assemblies according to drawings and work instructions while maintaining high quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in electronics manufacturing and hands-on assembly work. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to drawings and instructions
- Cut, strip, crimp, and connect wires and terminals
- Use hand tools and basic assembly equipment
- Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Label, organize, and package completed products
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Support general production and inventory tasks as needed
Requirements
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Ability to follow instructions carefully
- Basic English communication skills
- Manufacturing or assembly experience is an asset but not required
- Experience with wire harnesses or electronics assembly is a plus
