Back Country Construction is looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in custom homes, additions, and high-quality decks, and we take pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Framing, finishing, foundations, icf, footings, and general carpentry work
- Building decks, additions, and custom residential projects
- Reading and interpreting drawings and plans
- Installing doors, windows, trim, siding, and other finishes
- Working safely and efficiently on job sites
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Collaborating with crew members to meet project timelines
Requirements
- Previous carpentry or construction experience (apprentice to journeyman welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic hand tools, carpenters belt
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
