About the Role
BrightCore Electrical is looking for a motivated and organized entry-level candidate to support our electrical construction estimating and business development activities.
This role is ideal for someone with an electrical education or early electrical/construction experience who wants to learn how electrical projects are found, reviewed, estimated, quoted, and followed up.
This is primarily a junior estimating and business development support role, not a standard full-time field apprentice position. However, for the right candidate, there may be a potential path toward electrical apprenticeship and field exposure as the company grows and based on performance, attitude, and company needs.
The right person should be comfortable with a mix of office work, phone calls, emails, project research, construction site visits, and basic estimating support.

- Follow up with project contacts in a professional and organized manner
- Maintain and update the company lead tracking sheet/CRM daily
- Assist with organizing drawings, tender files, and project documents for estimating
- Support management with follow-ups on active opportunities and quotation requests
- Learn the basics of electrical estimating, project coordination, and electrical contracting
Qualifications
- Electrical Techniques, Electrical Foundation, Electrical Engineering Technician, pre-apprenticeship, or similar construction-related education preferred
- 0–1 year of electrical or construction experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone
- Professional attitude when communicating with builders, contractors, and clients
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation

- Able to follow a daily/weekly system and keep accurate records
Assets
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, or other safety certifications
- Basic understanding of electrical drawings or willingness to learn
- Own basic tools and safety gear
- Previous experience in customer service, construction, trade counter, sales support, or administration
- Interest in electrical estimating, project coordination, business development, or apprenticeship
