Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various maintenance, and operational tasks to ensure smooth project execution and site safety. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, punctual and committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
Employee will report to the Quality Inspector and are responsible for the following:
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
- Perform general site cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Removing and applying thread protectors
- Assist with cleaning pipe connections and/or thread protectors
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision
- Help with abrasive cleaning of pipe outside and /or inside diameter
- Ensure all work areas are tidy and compliant with safety standards
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and to identifying and reporting quality problems related to products, processes or the Quality System.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively
- Prior experience in manual labour is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to team goals
