Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Concession Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized concession stand. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food handling, with a strong focus on safety, sanitation, and upselling to enhance the customer experience. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of concession foods and beverages in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently while providing friendly customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the concession area, adhering to health regulations
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling items to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure timely service during busy periods by managing time effectively
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the concession stand is fully stocked at all times
- Follow all food industry safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patrons
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours and multitask effectively
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Dependability, positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
