Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products and displays effectively
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product placement
- Utilize strong communication skills to answer customer inquiries via phone or in person
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic math for transaction accuracy and sales calculations
- Support the team with cashiering duties, ensuring efficient checkout processes
- Uphold organizational skills to keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked at all times
Qualifications
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or merchandising is preferred
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening capabilities
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers on technical features when necessary
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions and upselling opportunities
- Organizational skills to manage inventory, displays, and paperwork effectively
