Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff. Prior experience in hospitality, hotel cleaning, or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to our team’s success.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all amenities are in place
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with guests or staff
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred; hotel or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain confidentiality of guest information
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; punctuality is essential
