Ottawa Pain and Spine Institute (OPSI) is a modern, physician-led interventional pain clinic dedicated to providing outstanding patient care in a professional, respectful, and team-oriented environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform fluoroscopy during interventional pain procedures.
- Prepare and position patients safely and professionally.
- Operate and maintain fluoroscopy equipment according to radiation safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with CPSO, CMRITO, and radiation safety regulations.
- Assist physicians during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
- Document procedures accurately.
- Maintain procedure rooms and equipment.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and communicate professionally with patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current registration with CMRITO.
- MRT certification in good standing.
- Experience with fluoroscopy is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and patient-focused.
Preferred Experience
- Interventional pain clinic experience.
- Orthopedic, spine, or surgical fluoroscopy experience.
- Experience working in an outpatient clinic.

Schedule
- Part-time (with opportunity for additional hours) or full time 4 days
- Monday to Friday
- No evenings
- No overnight shifts
- No on-call responsibilities
