Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food items, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering a positive dining experience to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and professional customer service
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and giving accurate change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Hours: 30- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: 0 - 6 months
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
