We are seeking compassionate, skilled clinicians to join our team and help us bring accessible, high-quality counselling services to the community.
Island Clinical Counselling is a collaborative group practice rooted in the values of purpose, integrity, and client-centred care. Our team works with diverse clients across the lifespan and is committed to ethical, inclusive, and evidence-informed practice.
We are particularly interested in clinicians who bring specialized skills that support underserved needs in the community.
Preference will be given to clinicians with training or experience in:
- EMDR / trauma therapy
- Child and youth counselling
- Play therapy
- Neurodivergent-affirming therapy (ADHD / autism)
- Family counselling
Position Overview
- Provide clinical counselling
- Collaborate with a supportive team of clinicians
- Maintain clinical documentation and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BCACC, or eligible for registration or CCC (Certified Canadian Counsellor) or Social Work registered with the BC Association of Social Workers.
- Master’s degree in counselling, social work, psychology, or related field
- Strong clinical judgement and ethical practice
- Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive care
