We're growing our Grande Prairie Service team and are looking for experienced Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technicians who enjoy challenging work, solving complex mechanical problems, and working on some of the largest horsepower frac equipment in Western Canada. What You'll Be Working On
- CAT 3512 engines
- Cummins QSK50 engines
- Detroit Series 60 & MTU engines
- TH48 & TH55 transmissions
- Frac pumps, Hydraulic systems, High-horsepower engine packages
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain frac equipment and related systems
- Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and 500-hour services
- Perform engine, transmission, hydraulic, and major component repairs
- Conduct pre- and post-repair testing to verify equipment performance
- Use OEM diagnostic software (CAT ET, SIS, Cummins INSITE) to identify and resolve faults
- Complete accurate service reports, JSAs, QC documentation, warranty claims, and timesheets
- Support both shop and field service operations while providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications
Required
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Millwright or equivalent experience may also be considered)
- Strong experience repairing and maintaining frac equipment
- Experience with CAT, Cummins, Detroit and MTU engines
- Experience with TH48 and TH55 transmissions
- Strong hydraulic, diesel, and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Experience using OEM diagnostic software (CAT ET, SIS, Cummins INSITE)
Assets
- CVIP Licence
- Truck and trailer repair experience
- Basic Microsoft Office and Teams experience
