Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Duties
- Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and maintaining proper storage conditions
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication instructions, and supporting patient needs
- Enter prescription data into pharmacy systems with attention to detail and accuracy
- Support administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and maintaining patient records
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and medical terminology standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication administration and patient support services
Skills
- Previous hospital experience or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry and inventory management

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
