Job Type: Part-Time, Independent Contractor
Compensation: Percentage of billing’s, averaging $111 to $120/hour
Schedule: Hours flexible. Practitioners set their own consistent weekly schedule. We're looking for candidates with some evening and weekend availability in addition to daytime hours.

About The Role
We're looking for a dedicated Mental Health Professional (Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker) to join our new Meadowvale clinic and provide evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families navigating the perinatal period, from preconception and pregnancy through the postpartum year. You'll work alongside a warm, multidisciplinary team that includes chiropractors, physiotherapists, lactation consultants, and other allied health professionals. This role can be based at our Meadowvale clinic, delivered virtually, or a combination of both. You'll play a meaningful role in the emotional wellbeing of the families we serve, with the support of a team that has your back.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and/or couples psychotherapy to clients experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, including prenatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), and the transition to parenthood
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans
- Collaborate with Oona's interdisciplinary clinical team including chiropractors, physiotherapists, lactation consultants, and other allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with your regulatory college's standards
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive clinic environment
- Participate in Oona's community programming, classes, and workshops as relevant
Who We're Looking For
- Registration in good standing with either the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Experience or specialized training in perinatal mental health (pregnancy, postpartum, infant bonding, reproductive loss)
- Proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, somatic approaches, or IPT
- A warm, client-centred approach and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to anti-oppressive, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a people-first mindset

Hours are flexible. Practitioners are welcome to set their own consistent weekly schedule. We're especially interested in candidates who can offer some evening and/or weekend availability in addition to daytime hours.
