We're looking for a cook passionate about food & craft beer to join our kitchen team! Part time position available for days, evenings & weekends. Requirements:
- 2 years kitchen experience
- Craft beer knowledge
- Personable & Friendly team player
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with awareness of your surroundings
- General knowledge of food safety practices
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and prep stations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Serve customers by providing friendly and prompt service when needed
- Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols is advantageous
- Experience in the food industry, especially in meal preparation or pizza making, is a plus
- Strong understanding of food handling standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
