We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the day to day operations of a busy joinery manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning production, managing staff, ensuring projects are delivered o time and within budget, maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement across the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day to day factory operations.
- Plan and schedule production to meet customer deadlines.
- Lead and develop production teams, including supervisors, joiners, CNC operators and assembly staff.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Monitor productivity and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Liaise with the design, estimating, procurement and installation teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards before dispatch.
- Resolve productions issues quickly to avoid delays
Requirements
- 5+ years experience managing a joinery or woodworking facility.
- Strong understanding of bespoke joinery manufacturing
- Experience managing CNC machining, edge banding, spray finishing and assembly departments.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong planning and organisational ability.
- Excellent communication skills.

Requirements
- Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects
- Interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Collaborating with designers, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and manufacturable
- Preparing cutting lists, material schedules, and technical documentation
- Updating and revising drawings based on client feedback and site measurements
- Ensuring all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards
Experience
- Previous experience as a CAD Technician within joinery, woodworking, fit-out, or a related industry
- Alternatively, an experienced Joiner with strong technical knowledge and an interest in moving into a design-based position
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, IMOS, or similar CAD software
- Strong understanding of joinery methods, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Experience
- CNC programming or CAM software knowledge
- Experience working on bespoke furniture, interiors, or fit-out projects
- Site measurement and surveying experience
