Join our growing learning centre in Clearview, Oakville, where we’re dedicated to helping every child build confidence and achieve academic success. We’re looking for enthusiastic, certified part-time teachers with a passion for Language and Math to inspire students in Grades 2–8.
What You’ll Do
- Lead small group tutoring sessions that make learning fun and effective.
- Deliver engaging lessons in Language and Math (using Singapore Math approach) to students. All content and lesson plans will be provided to you.
- Track student progress and adapt your teaching approach to meet individual needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents, celebrate progress and encourage ongoing success.
When You’ll Work
Availability is required for the following times: Monday to Friday: 3:30 pm – 7:30 PM.
Expected hours: 20 hours per week.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience and familiarity with Singapore Math.
- Preference for candidates certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
- Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and genuine enthusiasm for helping students learn.
- Ability to work part-time and independently.
