Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our new facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle systems using a range of hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
- Use diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Lift heavy components and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Assist with vehicle inspections and quality control checks to ensure standards are met
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle types
- Ability to work independently
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
