A&Z Interlock is a design-build interlock company currently seeking a Landscape Sales Person with the majority of our work in Ottawa.

Responsibilities:
- Take part as a sales representative for projects
- Working with clients to develop residential landscape plans that may include various landscape features, such as interlock, decks, gazebos & pergolas, plantings, & pools
- Accurately estimating required materials and prices for projects, effectively communicating expectations for a project in quotes to send to clients
- Tasks may also include: Interacting with and ordering from suppliers and manufacturers, filling out contracts, material order lists and other basic administrative tasks
- Ability to work with a CRM system
- Expectation for site visits and occasional involvement in construction
Education & Experience:
- Previous experience working in landscape and/or horticulture and/or hardscaping sales or managing projects is an asset
- Previous training or equivalent experience in hardscaping
- Post secondary education with a diploma or degree in Landscape Design or Horticulture or Landscape Architecture is an asset but not required
Skills:
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Can multitask, able to balance several projects at a time
- Understanding and ability to read landscape construction drawings
- Prepared with own set of steel-toe boots and weather-appropriate gear for on-site visits
- Strong attention to detail, able to make informed decisions when obstacles arise
- A creative thinker, always looking to push boundaries and create out-of-the-box solutions
- Able to work from the office or remotely as required
