Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Program Supervisor/Coordinator to oversee and coordinate educational and developmental programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, especially those with disabilities, and possess strong leadership skills. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring program quality, and fostering a positive environment that promotes growth and learning for all participants. The Program Supervisor will play a vital role in implementing curriculum, supporting caregivers, and maintaining compliance with program standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of educational and developmental programs for children with diverse needs.
- Coordinate and oversee classroom activities, ensuring they align with program goals and standards.
- Support and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on curriculum implementation and classroom management.
- Work directly with children, including those with disabilities, to promote their development and well-being.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and community partners to ensure comprehensive support for children’s needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to program activities, attendance, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, safety protocols, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Lead staff training sessions focused on caregiving, inclusive practices, and early childhood education strategies.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities or special needs.
- Background in caregiving or providing support to individuals with diverse developmental requirements.
- Experience in teaching or instructing young children is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and foster a collaborative environment.
