Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash drawers.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including checking identification for age verification.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and seasonal offerings to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
