Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in European import vehicles. This role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to work with various tools, and a commitment to providing excellent mechanical service/repair. This role also includes a hybrid pay structure.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems and HVAC.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repair or replacement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair processes when needed.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repairs and parts handling.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Automotive Mechanic with European import knowledge preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with co workers and clients.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.

Pay: $34.00-$45.00 per hour
