Worksite is at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, located on Highway 16, 45 km east of Edmonton. Commute is a 40 min drive. The successful candidate will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the Food Service Team Member will be responsible for assisting in the day to day duties of food services, from preparing food, to taking orders from customers. This position ready to start upon hire immediately, and will run until September 7, 2026, with the addition of Saturday, September 12th.
Duties include:
- preparing food, such as chopping, cooking, etc.
- preparing orders
- re-stocking items as needed
- taking orders and handling payment
- customer service during special events
The successful candidate will:
- Be committed to providing quality service
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Be a team player - with FOUVS and UCHV staff
- Maintain a sanitary and organized workspace.
- Be able to explain tasks to volunteers when needed
- Follow proper cashier procedures
Experience with a deep fryer and grill is an asset.
Knowing and adhering to required food safety standards is an asset.
