Duties
- Provide a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to meet client preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and styling tools to clients.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry through ongoing education.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
- Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain services, product recommendations, and maintenance tips.
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions.
- Experience with retail sales processes and front desk operations is preferred.
