We are seeking a dedicated ESL Instructor for our Business Program to support adult learners in developing their English language skills within a professional context and customer relations. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to business communication needs, including writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills
- Develop curriculum materials that align with program goals and accommodate various learning styles
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and cultural exchange
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues and program coordinators to improve instructional strategies and program effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
- Adapt teaching methods for students with special education needs or language barriers
Experience
- Prior classroom teaching experience, especially in adult education or business English is preferred
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist diverse learner populations
- Strong communication skills essential for clear instruction and effective student engagement
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment tools in language instruction is advantageous
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
