Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Cafe All-Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, supporting food and beverage operations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and tea, utilizing barista skills.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service.
- Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
- Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, counters, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, cleaning, or other tasks as needed.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging positively with customers and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, especially in cafes or similar environments.
- Barista experience is highly desirable, including knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, cashiering, and food handling is beneficial.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential.
