The position is based at our St‑Hyacinthe plant.
Your Role
In partnership with the Operations HR team and the Corporate HR team, the Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting plant operations. This role contributes primarily to recruitment activities, payroll administration, new employee onboarding, and administrative support for various HR programs.
What you will accomplish daily :
- Coordinate internal movements for unionized employees, including job postings, job assignments and employee file updates

Manage the full recruitment cycle for plant roles and selected administrative positions: posting, sourcing, screening, interviews, hiring and onboarding

Coordinate new employee orientation to ensure a positive employee experience from day one

Validate weekly payroll data for unionized employees and follow up on schedules, absences and workforce movements

Act as a resource person for employees regarding payroll, benefits and internal policies

Administer disability files, CNESST claims and temporary assignments

Collaborate with teams to implement HR programs and initiatives

Organize activities that foster employee engagement and mobilization
What you need to join our team

Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or a related field

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment

Experience recruiting production staff or working in a high‑volume recruitment context

Experience in payroll administration or validation (an asset)
