Overview
We are seeking a flatbedreliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and vehicle care. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Candidates with experience in forklift operation, automotive repair, and commercial driving are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
- Assist in warehouse operations including freight handling and inventory management when required
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid CDL license
- Familiarity with freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and forklift operation preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation or related fields is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation
- Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan routes effectively for timely deliveries

Pay: $16.42-$34.15 per hour
