Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Class 1 Driver with Crane Certification to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty vehicles and crane equipment to transport and handle freight efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols, contributing to the smooth logistics operations of our company. A valid crane certification and experience is essential for this position, along with a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for freight transportation across various locations
- Use crane equipment to unload and position heavy cargo accurately and securely
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and crane machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Assist with forklift operations to load truck and secure load.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed, including automotive repair tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations during operations to prevent accidents or damage
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and equipment usage
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
Experience
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Certified crane operator with relevant certification documentation
- Experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, including cranes
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in logistics environments
- Experience in material delivery to construction site prefered
- Prior experience working with heavy machinery or construction settings is preferred

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
