Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machinist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and maintain various machines such as lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components. Your mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CAD/CAM software like interpret blueprints will be essential in delivering high-quality parts efficiently. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate machining equipment, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring precise adherence to specifications.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to produce accurate parts.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments for optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other machining accessories to assemble components as needed.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety protocols within the shop floor.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role with hands-on machining skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and adjustments.
- Knowledge of machining tools including calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift operation is preferred.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing practices and assembly processes within a production environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
