Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, bar, and dining space
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, addressing any special requests or concerns
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Serving or alcohol certification is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Hospitality background is preferred, demonstrating a genuine passion for guest satisfaction
