WHO WE NEED
The role you’re applying for is to lead our professional Taste of Heaven (TOH) food truck with a passionate commitment to raising funds and awareness for NightShift Street Ministries.
The TOH Coordinator is a real “people person”, who loves teamwork. You are a go-getter, who is motivated by knowing your work is positively impacting our communities. And you’re as comfortable in the kitchen as you are out and about. The TOH Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of running a food truck as a social enterprise, which requires good planning and time management skills that extend to administration behind the scenes. As well as overseeing volunteers, your winning ways will have you engaging positively with customers at catering events.
The schedule requires flexibility, with the ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary. When you’re not busy with events, you will be able to support the workings of our warehouse and kitchen behind the scenes.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience working in a kitchen environment, catering business or food truck.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to be self-motivated, well organized and resourceful.
- Flexibility in hours worked, including evening and weekend hours, especially during food truck high season.
- FoodSafe BC Level 1.
- A clean, Class 5 driver’s licence and willingness to drive a food truck.
- The ability to lift, carry and load food packages and other donations in our warehouse.
- Willingness to support vulnerable people as part of the NightShift mission.

Pay: $44,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
