Job Summary
Biossil is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications, cloud-based services, and APIs that support AI-driven drug discovery and biomedical research. You will collaborate with scientists, AI researchers, and engineering teams to build secure, scalable software solutions that help manage, analyze, and visualize complex biological and clinical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end and back-end applications.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud-based services.
- Deploy and support applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop scalable software tools and dashboards for research and data visualization.
- Integrate AI and machine learning solutions into production applications.
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code while performing testing and code reviews.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences is an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
