We are seeking a qualified and passionate English Educator who possesses the expertise to teach a range of English language/literature courses for elementary students.
Particularly, we are looking for instructors who can teach the following classes:
1) ESL classes
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in English as a Second Language education, a proven record of English instruction, and the ability to engage and inspire students across different proficiency levels.
2) Novel Studies classes
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in English literature, experience teaching novels and literary analysis, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences that inspire students to think critically, participate actively, and develop a deeper appreciation for literature.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective curriculum, meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Foster skills in reading, speaking, and writing in English for elementary students (JK~G8)
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment to facilitate language acquisition
- Provide helpful feedback to students
- Regular meetings with program manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English education or a related field (current students working toward a related degree will also be considered)
- English is your first language
- Teaching certification in English, including TESOL/TEFL/TESL
- Previous experience teaching English and/or ESL (English as a Second Language)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse student needs
- Passions for education and a commitment to fostering love for English language and literature
