Overview
Our client, a well-established property management and real estate organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This position supports a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties and is based on the North Shore.
This is a high-volume accounting role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple recurring financial processes while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple operating and trust accounts.
- Manage tenant payment processing, including rent payments, deposits, and account reconciliations.
- Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices for approval and payment.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide accounting and administrative support to internal teams while meeting recurring deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Up to 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience with accounting or property management software is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
