Human Resources Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources department, with a focus on Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) administration, employee onboarding, housing coordination, compliance, and employee support.
Key Responsibilities
Immigration & Work Permit Coordination
· Track work permit statuses under the direction of the HR Manager.
· Monitor work permit expiry dates and renewal timelines to ensure ongoing compliance.
· Assist employees with gathering required immigration and employment documentation.
Employee Onboarding
· Coordinate employee arrivals and airport pickups under the guidance of the HR Manager.
· Assist with new employee orientation sessions.
· Explain workplace policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements to employees.
· Assist employees with payroll enrollment, direct deposit setup, and banking arrangements.
Communication & Employee Support
· Assist with creating multilingual employee notices, communications, and policies.
· Communicate workplace updates, policy changes, and important company information to employees.
· Assist employees with payroll and ADP-related questions and direct concerns to the appropriate resources when necessary.
· Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide professional support while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in Human Resources, administration, employee relations, or workforce coordination is preferred.
· Knowledge of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and immigration processes is considered an asset.
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR/payroll software.
· Bilingual English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8:00AM-4:30POM
Work Location: In-Person
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
