Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our compassionate team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse client populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized medical support. Your expertise will help promote health, safety, and independence for our clients while supporting their unique needs across various care settings.
We are currently, actively seeking immediate assistance with a TID injection in the Clair Hills area, but other nursing opportunities in the area are also available.

Duties
- Complete focused and holistic nursing assessments, identify changes in condition, and communicate or escalate concerns appropriately.
- Assist with health teaching and training for clients, families and unregulated care providers
- Administer medications, injections and IV infusions accurately and safely, following established protocols and medical orders.
- Plan, provide, evaluate and document safe, person-centred nursing care in accordance with the client’s plan of care..
- Practice a holistic approach to care assisting with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility support, and nutritional assistance where necessary..
- Collaborate with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate effective care delivery.
- Support clients in dementia care, hospice care, pediatric care, or senior care as required by their individual circumstances.
Requirements
- Valid registration in good standing with CNO
- Proven experience in nursing home settings, hospitals, or acute care environments.
- Valid BLS certification
- Current TB test
- Clear VSSC
- Access to reliable transportation
- Familiarity with electronic health records is preferred.
- Strong patient care skills combined with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Additional experience in phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, pain management, wound care, case management or assisted living is considered an asset.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
