Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Team Lead to oversee daily operations in our office furniture warehouse. This position combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with administrative and customer service duties. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and comfortable managing both people and workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support warehouse staff with daily operations
- Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing office furniture
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on schedule
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Respond to customer emails and phone inquiries professionally
- Follow up with clients regarding orders, deliveries, and service requests
- Coordinate with drivers, installers, and office staff
- Monitor inventory and report shortages or damages
- Train new employees and help maintain team productivity
- Assist management with scheduling and operational tasks
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or team leadership experience preferred
- Ability to perform labour-intensive work and lift heavy furniture safely
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling emails, phone calls, and administrative duties
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Basic computer knowledge (email, spreadsheets, order systems)
