Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in planning, executing, and managing all aspects of Solara's advertising and marketing initiatives. This hands-on position offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple marketing channels, including digital advertising, graphic design, website management, social media, promotions, events, and in-store marketing.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong creative and technical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for professional development and advancement as the company continues to grow.
Duties
Marketing & Advertising
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, radio, and other advertising platforms.
- Assist in developing and implementing annual marketing plans and promotional calendars.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate seasonal promotions, special events, and in-store marketing initiatives.
Graphic Design & Creative Development
- Design marketing materials including advertisements, flyers, brochures, signage, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and locations.
- Create engaging visual content for social media, websites, and digital advertising campaigns.
Website Management
- Maintain and update company websites with current products, promotions, blogs, and other content.
- Optimize website content for user experience and search engine visibility (SEO).
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners as required.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan, create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms.
- Engage with online audiences and help grow brand awareness.
- Capture and develop photo and video content for marketing initiatives.
- Monitor social media trends and recommend new opportunities for audience engagement.
Administrative & Reporting
- Assist with marketing budgets, vendor coordination, and project timelines.
- Track and report on marketing performance metrics.
Support management with various marketing and communications projects
Skills
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of marketing experience preferred.
- Strong graphic design skills with experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing websites and content management systems.
- Experience with social media marketing and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Assets
Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Google Analytics and Google Business Profile management
- Meta Business Suite and social media advertising platforms
- Email marketing platforms
- CRM and customer database systems
- E-commerce or retail marketing platforms
- Photography and video editing software
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
