Are you a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic ready to take on a new challenge? This is a full-time, permanent position with one of the region’s leading heavy industrial operations, offering long-term stability, excellent pay, and career advancement opportunities.
Important: This is not a fly-in / fly-out role. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Kootenay region of British Columbia or nearby communities in southwestern Alberta. Relocation assistance is provided.
About the Role
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair large-scale mobile heavy equipment
- Work on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and braking systems
- Perform both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment fleets
- Operate in outdoor and industrial environments year-round
Qualifications
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (HDET) certification (or eligibility to challenge)
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with large mobile equipment preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Relocation required (support provided)
Compensation & Benefits
