Wedding Musicians Wanted (Trumpet and Saxophone)
Mico Entertainment is seeking professional musicians to perform at weddings and special events throughout Calgary and the surrounding area.
The ideal candidates will bring musical excellence, engaging stage presence, and the ability to create memorable moments for clients.
Vibe and presentation are extremely important. We are looking for musicians who are professional, upbeat, confident, approachable, and genuinely enjoy performing for people.

PAY
Typically $200–$400 per event, depending on experience, performance requirements, and event details.

SAXOPHONE & TRUMPET
You'll be performing alongside a DJ, improvising over popular wedding songs and helping create memorable moments for couples and their guests.
We provide playlists in advance so you'll know exactly what music to prepare for.
What we're really looking for is musical awareness.
Knowing when to step forward and add energy.
Knowing when to step back and let the song breathe.
Knowing how to read the room and enhance the atmosphere without overpowering it.
The best musicians for this role understand that they're part of a larger experience. The goal is to make the music feel more exciting, interactive, and alive while keeping the focus on the people celebrating.
You will be reading the room, amping people up, giving most attention to the couple and whoever is the most receptive and keen for it.
STRINGS (VIOLIN, CELLO, VIOLA)
Strings are typically used for:
- Ceremonies
- Cocktail hour
- Dinner ambiance
We're looking for musicians who can create an elegant, emotional atmosphere while maintaining a professional and polished presentation.
Experience performing weddings is an asset.

Wedding experience is an asset, but great musicianship, professionalism, and good instincts are even more important.
