Globotech is currently seeking a Project Manager to support on going projects at the Tiverton, Ontario location. An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area or come to the area on an as needed basis.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project team responsible for the delivery of the project in terms of cost, schedule, technical conformance, safety, quality, ensuring compliance with company and project procedures.
- Define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and ensuring that milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, sponsors, and teams, conducting regular project meetings and providing status reports, and managing expectations to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensure scope changes are identified, and management of change processes are adhered to.
- Identify potential risks, develops mitigation strategies, monitoring issues and implementing corrective actions, and maintaining a risk register to track and manage uncertainties.
- Assign roles and responsibilities within the team, fostering a productive work environment while motivating team members, and resolving conflicts to encourage collaboration.
- Monitor project costs to ensure financial efficiency, allocating and optimizing resources effectively, and managing vendor contracts and external resource
- Ensure project deliverables meet industry standards and best practices, conducting quality checks and performance evaluations, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Mentors and trains project personnel to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency through leadership and guidance.
- Conduct project reviews and documenting lessons learned, ensuring the successful handover of project deliverables, and archiving project documentation for future reference.
- Actively contribute to the business development process by assisting in proposal preparation, including budget, schedule, and execution strategy.
Additional information:
- Bruce Power requires a Project Manager to manage Reactor Program's objective of establishing a facility to support its programs' needs.
- Specializing in construction and facility development, the project manager will oversee, manage and complete requirements to determine the viability and steps needed for a Reactor Programs facility.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 5-8+ years of experience in project management in support of executing studies and capital projects including engineering, procurement and construction experience.
- Management experience specifically in the nuclear field is considered an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management plan development, implementation and administration methods and application.
- In-depth knowledge of estimating, scheduling, cost control, communication, and managing personnel.
- Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (such as CSA, ISO, ASME etc.).
Qualifications/ Skills
- Highly developed self-management skills, including time management.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and teams. Ability to resolve conflicts and navigate challenging situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current P.Eng. registration with PEO, or registered P.Eng. in another Canadian Province or Territory and eligible for registration with PEO.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate required, or alternate equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed for on-site project management.
- Must be able to obtain site access security clearance (SASC) for Canadian nuclear facilities.
