We are looking for an individual who is organized and can work independently on a number of properties in the West end of Toronto. Most of the locations West of Dufferin and South of Wilson. Most buildings are multi-residential as well as 4 boarding homes. Tasks are coordinated daily in order to manage time in travel.
Key Duties:
Carry out general building maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work
Identify and address issues proactively to prevent larger problems
Assist with the installation and maintenance of equipment, fixtures, and systems
Respond to emergency calls and take immediate action to resolve urgent issues
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any related costs
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following safety protocols and regulations
Provide support and guidance to on-site staff, such as custodians or groundskeepers
Collaborate with property managers and owners to develop and implement maintenance plans
