Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations efficiently and safely
- Diagnose vehicle concerns and document repairs thoroughly
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and identify additional service needs
- Perform quality-control road tests
- Communicate effectively with technicians, advisors, parts staff, wash staff, and sales personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow OEM repair procedures and safety standards
- Complete factory training and maintain certification requirements
- Support and mentor apprentices and team members when needed
- Open to ongoing training, certification, and career development
- Willingness to complete Volkswagen factory training programs, including EV training
Qualifications
- Red Seal Automotive Technician Certification is considered a strong asset
- Apprentice Technicians, Lube Technicians, and individuals looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry are encouraged to apply
- Previous automotive shop, dealership, tire, or quick-lube experience is required
- VW/Audi/Porsche experience is considered an asset but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn and grow
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Own basic hand tools or willing to acquire them
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
