We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant- Data Coordinator to support our teams. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the accuracy of case data and ensuring important limitation deadlines are properly tracked and communicated across our national offices.
Position Overview
The Data Coordinator position is an internal-facing role responsible for reviewing litigation limitation lists, maintaining accurate case information, and communicating updates to legal teams across Canada. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with large volumes of data in a fast-paced environment . This role does not involve client communication and focuses entirely on internal case data management and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor litigation limitation lists to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and update case data within internal systems and databases
- Track key deadlines and communicate updates to legal teams across Canada
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and follow up internally to resolve them
- Generate internal reports related to file data and limitation timelines
- Ensure consistent and accurate data entry across multiple files and teams
- Support national teams by providing timely updates on limitation-related matters
- Assist with other administrative and data management tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry, legal administration, or office administration preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage and review large volumes of information efficiently
- Strong written communication skills for internal coordination
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
- Experience in a legal environment or law firm is an asset but not required
- Candidates will be required to complete an Excel skills assessment as part of the hiring process
