Job Summary:
OJIM is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our OJ project team as a local employee for a minimum 6 month term. Project Controls, under the direction and guidance of the project team and Project Controls Manager, will provide technical and/or management support, to ensure Project Controls Plan and obligations are followed for each project(s).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and set up cost & progress reporting templates based on project requirements
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedule using Primavera P6
- Update / complete project reporting as outlined in Project Controls Plan and as required for the project. Reports include:
- Daily Force Reporting
- Weekly Progress & Performance, with Forecast Variance Reporting
- Monthly Incurred Cost, with Forecast Variance Reporting
- Work in conjunction with project and construction management team PM/CM/Superintendents/QC
- Review daily timesheets with project manager and team to ensure it is coded to correct WBS / task codes
- Daily LEM completion
- Review and validate sub-contractors reporting data
- Work with Project Manager, Construction Management, Planner / Scheduler and sub-contractors for construction project progress and update schedule in Primavera
- Review sub-contractor timesheets and coordinate approval from PM
- Coordinate and review sub-contractors for progress update
- Work with planner /scheduler and field cost analyst for progress and performance update
- Follow change management standard and prepare and submit change proposals
- Attend project meetings when required
- Assure that sub-contractor invoices are aligned with LEMS submitted on a daily basis for the work
- Update change logs
- Update direct, indirect and sub-contractor hours on a weekly basis for man-hour reporting.
- Any other duties assigned by Project Controls Manager or Project PM / CM
- Valid driver’s license is required
