Position Summary:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory across the warehouse and production environment. This role analyzes inventory data, conducts cycle counts, and supports inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels and support uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Analyze inventory data to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall inventory performance
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, including reorder points and safety stock
- Generate reports on slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory, and support disposition decisions
- Ensure proper inventory rotation (FIFO) and monitor shelf-life/expiry of materials
- Track and analyze negative inventory or system variances in ERP systems (e.g., IFS)
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to support inventory readiness
- Manage and track dunnage and packaging materials inventory levels
- Reconcile any scrap related to raw materials
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control and warehouse processes
- Maintaining off Site Inventory
- Assist with any other responsibilities related to Inventory
Qualifications and Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related supply chain role.
- Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and inventory management systems (IFS experience is an asset).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to investigate inventory discrepancies and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Pay: $28.50 per hour
