Lead Hand – Landscape Construction
We are looking for a skilled Lead Hand with a minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape construction who can work directly under our Supervisor, take ownership of assigned tasks, and confidently lead labourers when needed.
We’re a high-end residential landscape construction company looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our crew. Our work focuses heavily on hardscaping—patios, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor living spaces—so this is a great role for someone who enjoys hands-on work and seeing real results at the end of the day.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working directly under the Supervisor to complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently
Leading and directing labourers on site when required
Assisting with and overseeing landscape construction and hardscape installation
Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
Maintaining site organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
Operating hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and according to project expectations
Supporting daily site productivity and helping keep projects on schedule
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, or related construction work
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once tasks are assigned
Experience managing or directing labourers on site when needed
Strong understanding of safe work practices, site organization, and job flow
Ability to handle physical work including lifting, bending, and working outdoors for long periods
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
Willingness to work in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license required
Reliable vehicle to commute to and from our yard (company vehicles provided from the yard to job sites)
